First Line Social Services

Haninge Municipality has adapted to the future of social services and has therefore established a first line social service.

Here we have gathered early and preventive advice and support measures aimed at offering residents help at an early stage to prevent serious issues. We aim to be close to the residents and make it easier to contact social services. As part of consolidating first line social services, we have a common reception for children and youth as well as for adults.

Since October 1, 2025, Haninge Municipality has been running a project we call the Fast Track. In the Fast Track, we investigate children and youth aged 0-17 years. The Fast Track was created as we saw a need to work more efficiently in selected cases. For an investigation to belong to the Fast Track, it must be evident from the preliminary assessment that it concerns only one or a few areas of need and can be completed within two months. The project has been very successful, and we have therefore decided to make it permanent. We have seen significant benefits in that the Fast Track has a clear connection to the reception, as the transfer from the reception should be quick. The Fast Track is therefore organizationally placed together with the reception.

Your Mission

As a social worker in the Fast Track, your main task is to investigate children aged 0-17 years. The investigations should be characterized by efficiency, legal security, and professional treatment. We expect you to work efficiently and complete the investigations within two months. For this to work, we want you to be able to express yourself clearly and simply in writing and to filter what is important information to include in the investigation.

The Fast Track consists of three social workers and is organizationally placed directly under the reception's unit manager.

What We Are Looking For in You

We are looking for someone who is a qualified social worker with many years of knowledge and experience in public authority work concerning children and youth. You need to be efficient as the first contact with the family should occur within a week, and the entire investigation should be completed within two months. Furthermore, you need to be confident in your professional role as much of the work is carried out independently and without co-workers.

Formal Requirements for the Position

• Degree in Social Work
• At least five years of experience in public authority work concerning children and youth, investigative work.
• Knowledge and experience of BBIC
• Knowledge and ability to document accurately and legally
• Knowledge and experience of Signs of Safety
