Due to parental leave, we are now seeking a temporary LSS case officer for just over a year. You will work with both children and adults with disabilities. With us, you will have the opportunity to contribute to important work that makes a difference in people's lives. You will work in a stable organization with engaged and competent colleagues who support each other.

Our Offer

  • Our premises are located in Solna City Hall, centrally located and close to public transport.
  • We apply individual salary setting and have wellness benefits.
  • Access to a gym is available.
  • Flexible working hours and the possibility of remote work.

What Does the Job Entail?

As an LSS case officer, you are primarily responsible for assessing needs, making decisions, and following up on interventions for people with certain disabilities. You will primarily work based on the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). You will also investigate, assess, and make decisions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on National Travel Service as needed. As an LSS case officer, you will have daily contact with users, relatives, representatives, providers, and other units in the municipality as well as authorities and healthcare providers.

It is important that you enjoy development work and see collaboration as a vital part of success. We work according to IBIC (individual needs in focus) as an investigation methodology and place great emphasis on legal certainty and follow-up work.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for someone who:

  • has a degree in social work or another suitable higher education
  • is knowledgeable in legislation and its preparatory work as well as the regulations that govern our work
  • can express themselves well in Swedish in both speech and writing.

We consider it an advantage if you:

  • have experience working as an LSS case officer or assistance officer
  • have experience working with people with disabilities
  • have knowledge of IBIC as an investigation method and/or have worked in the operational system Lifecare.

The role of LSS case officer requires you to be service-oriented, flexible, and meticulous while providing a respectful and empathetic response and being able to build trust in contact with users and relatives. Making well-founded decisions and maintaining a high level of legal certainty is important. The ability to communicate clearly and adapt working methods based on individual needs is central to the role. It is important that you are self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks and can structure your work, while also being able to collaborate with colleagues, relatives, and other professionals. As a person, you need to be secure and stable and able to adapt to different situations when needed.

We place great importance on personal qualities and highly value life and work experience.
