About the position
We are currently looking for someone who wants to work with a woman in her 30s with a spinal cord injury. She lives in Fagersjö near Farsta. For those who choose to travel by public transport, Fagersjö is easily accessible via the green subway line, which provides smooth connections.
Assistive devices include tracheostomy, cough machine, and lift. Part of the introduction involves several full-day training sessions at Danderyd Hospital with both practical and theoretical training to handle these assistive devices correctly.
Working hours are as follows, both weekdays and weekends:
15:00-21:00
Job responsibilities include:
Assisting with daily routines such as household chores
Tracheostomy care
Assisting with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and during meals
Lifting may occur during transfers (assistive devices are available)
Your workplace is where the client is located
Social interaction
About you
We believe that you who are applying for this position are a person who enjoys working with people and can see to the needs of others. As a person, you are attentive, proactive, and solution-focused.
You have a strong work ethic and are flexible. You possess a calm demeanor and are secure in yourself. You need to have a good sense of the situation and can read situations well.
The work varies in pace according to the client's needs and daily life, so it is important that you are attentive to the client's needs. You should also be comfortable taking a more passive role.
Furthermore, the client is looking for female assistants!
Requirements:
Non-smoker
Physically strong, manual transfers may occur
Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Meritorious:
Professional experience working with spinal cord injuries or tracheostomy.
Scope: 3 substitutes as needed.
Start date: Interviews are ongoing and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.

Things to consider before your application:

Due to the nature of the position, which may involve solitary work, night work, and tasks that according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3) cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old.
