We are one of Sweden's largest youth organizations, operating over 60 activities across the country – everything from culture and entertainment to social initiatives that address the toughest challenges of our time. We are now looking for a creative and driven youth leader for the Henriksdal youth center in Nacka – with a specific mission to develop and lead our girls' activities.
About Henriksdal youth center
Henriksdal youth center is an open recreational activity for young people in middle and high school. Here, young people have a safe place to hang out, try new activities, develop their interests, and meet caring adults who see them. The operation is well established, located on Henriksdalsberget in Nacka, and works based on Fryshuset's values and methods.
Your role with us
As a youth leader, you will be an important part of an engaged team that together creates meaningful leisure for young people. The role is varied and eventful, and you will have ample opportunity to influence and develop the operations.
Your work will include:
- Operational work with young people during daytime and evening hours (until 9:30 PM and some late Fridays).
- Leading, developing, and driving our girls' activities – from creating safe activities to workshops or girls' groups.
- Actively working on the organization's democracy project
- Supervision, coaching, and relationship-building work with young people.
- Planning and implementing activities and projects.
- Active participation in the development of the operations together with colleagues and management.
- Follow-up, documentation, and evaluation of activities and projects.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who loves working with young people and is passionate about creating safe, inclusive environments where young people, especially girls, can grow and take space. You are social, driven, and can work well both independently and in a team. You easily build relationships and meet young people with warmth, structure, and professionalism.
You:

- can work critically and inclusively in all situations
Qualifications
- Youth leader education or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience working with young people.
- Knowledge and experience of a norm-critical working method.
- We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Meritorious
- Experience from open recreational activities.
- Experience working with young people with neuropsychiatric disabilities.
- Personal skills, passion, or experience in areas such as music, culture, sports, or anything else that can enrich the operations.
- Experience with girls' groups or work promoting gender equality.
Employment
- Start date: By agreement
- Scope: 75%, permanent employment starting with a 6-month probationary period
- Collective agreement: Fremia – Kommunal (School Agreement)
