Fountain House Stockholm is a non-profit organization that works according to the international Fountain House model for psychosocial rehabilitation. More than 370 fountain houses worldwide engage individuals with mental health issues as members.

We are now looking for a substitute supervisor to join us at Götgatan 38. We have been working for mental health in Stockholm since 1980 and are a strong player in the social psychiatric rehabilitation field in Stockholm. This is a unique opportunity to work within a recovery-oriented organization where the focus is on the individual's strengths and skills. The work is diverse and varied, in a work environment characterized by community, warmth, hope, and plenty of activity.

Supervisors work side by side with the members of the fountain house in all aspects of the operation. The supervisors' responsibilities include engaging members in the daily work at the fountain house, as well as supporting members in achieving their individual goals regarding rehabilitation and recovery, as well as vocational and educational goals. The work also involves contact with authorities, healthcare, and other community functions related to members' needs and wishes.

The professional role of the supervisors places high demands on presence, humility, responsiveness, flexibility, patience, and respect, as well as the ability to collaborate. Our professional approach requires the ability to develop collegial and supportive relationships with the individuals who use the service for their recovery. The entire workday is spent in shared premises, with no separate spaces or meetings solely for staff.

We primarily seek someone who is a social worker or has another behavioral science degree, but we also consider applications from those with other educational backgrounds that can benefit our organization. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for a supervisor for our kitchen unit immediately, who, together with other supervisors and a dynamic group of members, will be responsible for tasks related to the large kitchen.

The position is full-time (37.5 hours/week). Working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, but will also include some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
