In the adult support unit, there are a total of 13 employees and one unit manager.

You will work in an organization (Adult Department) where some of your colleagues are responsible for the municipality's work with financial assistance, eviction prevention, benefit fraud, recovery, housing coaching, newcomers, estate management & debt and budget counseling. The department's constellation opens doors for innovative thinking and frictionless client focus, resting on Österåker's values – Everyone is equally important for us to provide the best possible service to the residents of Österåker.

We provide wellness hours and an annual wellness allowance. With us, you will also receive continuous supervision, and all new employees receive an introduction plan and a mentor to best support you in thriving and succeeding in your new role with us.

Your new job

Here you will work with investigations according to ASI, assessments, and decisions according to legislation within SoL (Social Services Act) and LVM (Act on Care of Abusers), supported by the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations and case law.

Within the social administration, we have outpatient care focused on addiction treatment and work to design new home-based solutions. There is a well-established collaboration with our outpatient care.

You will be part of a team with three other social workers who have extensive experience working with the target group. The role requires you to work both independently and as part of a team. You will have the support of highly competent colleagues who utilize each other's experiences and knowledge in their work.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who has:

• Degree in Social Work
• You strengthen relationships by helping others, collaborating, following rules and processes, and sharing information.
• You develop, improve, seek solutions, learning, and knowledge on your own initiative.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience in addiction case management
• MI (Motivational Interviewing)
• ASI (Addiction Severity Index)
• Good collaboration skills
• Experience with Lifecare
• Audit and Dudit
• Driver's license
• Freda card questions
