Personal Assistant Wanted

Hello! I am looking for someone to work as my personal assistant.

I am a 48-year-old guy with a twinkle in my eye, a lot of humor, and plenty of energy. I live in my own apartment in Tyresö, where there is also a room for my assistants. I enjoy being active – walking, driving, and staying engaged in daily life. Every other week, I also attend a Day Activity Center.

I have autism, and for me, routines, clarity, structure, and order are very important for my well-being. I need support in all aspects of daily life – from household chores to personal hygiene, cooking, and planning for the day.

About the Job

The position is set up as a day shift with sleeping on-call duty, and you will work every other week. During the work week, you will work every other day, which corresponds to about 80% of a full-time position.

From May to September, I live with my family at our summer house in Lindesberg. During this time, the assistants take turns traveling there, and during these periods, the work is often more intensive. When you return home, you will have longer continuous time off, which balances the overall workload over time.

About You:

• You have a sense of humor - just like me!
• You are stable and secure while being attentive and able to stay one step ahead at all times.
• You have the ability to create structure and predictability.
• There is a dog in my family, so you cannot be allergic.
• You enjoy being active and have a good level of fitness – walking, driving, and everyday activities are a natural part of the job.
• You are proficient in Swedish to ensure we understand each other in all situations.
• A driver's license is a big plus as I have a car we can use for small trips.

Experience with autism or personal assistance is advantageous, but the most important thing is that you are present, engaged, and have the right personality.
