Personal Assistants Wanted for Extra Work in Tyresö

About the Position

We are currently looking for someone who wants to work extra as a personal assistant to a woman living in Tyresö. As a personal assistant, you will work closely with a person with disabilities and support her in daily life. The work takes place in the client's home and wherever the client is, with the goal of enabling her to live as independently and actively as possible.

Job Responsibilities

The tasks vary depending on the client's needs and may include:

• Assistance with personal hygiene and mobility
• Household chores and cooking
• Support in daily activities and leisure interests

The client enjoys music, trivia, crossword puzzles, and board games. She follows a mostly vegetarian diet (eats fish, eggs, cheese, and milk but not meat).

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

• Can work extra as needed and step in at short notice
• Is responsible, attentive, and quick to learn new tasks
• Has an understanding of brain injuries and epilepsy, preferably with prior experience working with individuals with these diagnoses
• Has knowledge or experience with assistive devices, e.g., hand and foot orthoses

It is an advantage if you:

• Enjoy cooking
• Have an interest in music, trivia, and general knowledge
• Have a sense of humor and a positive attitude

Requirements:

• You speak and write fluent Swedish
• You must not be allergic to perfume, animals, or cigarettes, as these are present in the client's home

Employment Type and Working Hours

The position is a hourly-based employment (extra work) with varying working hours based on the client's needs: day, evening, night (on-call), weekdays, and weekends.

Salary and employment conditions according to the collective agreement for Personal Assistance, Vårdföretagarna – Kommunal.
