At the National Organization GAPF – Never Forget Pela and Fadime, we are currently in an important phase of growth and development. Therefore, we are looking for someone who wants to make a difference for victims of honor-related violence in Sweden through the role of support coordinator.
Scope: 100 percent
Location: GAPF's office at Vattugatan 5, Stockholm
Conditions: Permanent with a 6-month probationary period

About the role:
You will work closely with a support coordinator and together you will drive the work of the support service in terms of cases and activities related to the support service.
Your working hours are flexible, and there is the possibility to work from home. Working hours outside of office hours may occur by agreement. It is a permanent position with a probationary period of the first 6 months. GAPF has a collective agreement with Fremia and individual salary setting. GAPF's support service is open 24/7 throughout the year.
As a support coordinator, you are responsible for:
- staffing the support hotline's phone and email according to scheduled times
- working during your own scheduled on-call hours by receiving calls from those seeking support and mapping the caller's situation and needs for support, then assessing appropriate interventions
- staffing the support hotline's phone and email during evenings, weekends, and nights for receiving urgent cases
- supporting those seeking help in their contacts with authorities
- supporting and advising professionals in honor-related cases
- supporting relatives of victims of honor-related violence
- documenting and following up on cases
- training support personnel and volunteers in the work of the support hotline
Other tasks and work outside regular working hours may occur by agreement. This includes activities that GAPF organizes, participation in networking meetings for non-profit organizations, and outreach work towards schools and other institutions.
Your profile:
We are looking for someone with at least 1 year of experience in social work. You should have worked with individual cases and have experience in conducting risk assessments based on conversations. We believe you are a trained social worker or have a bachelor's degree in behavioral science, social pedagogy, or equivalent. You are fluent in Swedish in both spoken and written form.
It is an advantage if you have previous experience in working with honor-related violence and oppression, experience from government work, human rights, advocacy, or similar, either as a volunteer or as an employee.

- possess good analytical skills and critical thinking
- have a good ability to collaborate with other authorities

The National Organization GAPF – Never Forget Pela and Fadime, is a non-profit, secular, and politically independent organization that works for an equal society free from honor-related violence and oppression. GAPF is today a well-established organization that spreads knowledge about how honor-related violence and oppression affect the rights of youth and women in Sweden.
Every year, GAPF organizes the Fadime Days, summer camps for vulnerable women and children, and is present in Almedalen every summer. We carry out vital work by primarily supporting the vulnerable through our support service, training professionals and students nationally, conducting advocacy, and fundraising activities.
