The Department for Individuals and Families in Hässelby-Vällingby SDF gathers about 290 employees and consists of four different areas: Promotion, First Line, Children and Youth, and Adults.
The First Line area consists of five different areas that together offer:
Preventive and early interventions for children, youth, and adults including:
Parent counseling, group activities for children and adults, field assistants, school social workers, youth reception, social intervention group, relative support, and the meeting point Vistet.
The social services reception for children and youth.
Family Law
We are looking for an engaged family law secretary for our unit
Family Law Northwest is responsible for family law matters for Hässelby-Vällingby and Bromma district administrations. The Family Law team consists of 14 family law secretaries and one unit manager.

Your role
The role of family law secretary
Family Law Northwest is tasked with focusing on the best interests of the child, investigating and supporting children and parents in family law matters, such as custody investigations, voluntary and referred mediation sessions, visitation support, adoption, and paternity and parenthood investigations. We continuously work to refine and improve our methods. We focus on preventive measures such as voluntary mediation sessions, Whole Child, Hanna and Theo, and the group activities Split Worlds and BIFF. For our visitation support cases, we have a child-friendly facility and experienced visitation supporters as executors.
As a colleague in the family law group, you will be part of a generous, creative, positive, and helpful team with high competence.
Your competence and experience
We are looking for you who are a social worker with experience in family law work and/or experience in investigative work. Experience in working within child and youth authority is an advantage. The work requires that you have a very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing. You have knowledge of children's needs and development and have experience conducting conversations with parents and children. You are relationship-building with good collaboration skills, calm, communicative, and professional.
Since the work often involves meeting people in crisis and/or with complex life situations, it is important that you can see opportunities, convey hope, and meet people in a respectful manner. You can work both independently and in a structured way by planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work well.
