Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, contributing to a smooth daily life. In this assignment, the client is a child, which means you need to be empathetic, secure, and supportive in the child's development and daily routines.

About the Position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• Wants to work with a 9-year-old girl living with her family in Tungelsta
• Has good knowledge of Swedish
• Has a warm demeanor, a lot of patience, and the ability to create safety and joy in the child's daily life
• Has good physical condition and can perform heavy lifting
• Is smoke-free

It is also an advantage if you:

• Have experience in similar work and working with children
• Have experience and knowledge of epilepsy

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working Hours, Employment Rate, and Salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is 60%. The job involves working on weekdays (Monday-Friday) between 1:00 PM - 8:30 PM and night shifts between 7:00 PM - 8:00 AM (with 7.5 hours on-call time). On Sundays, the working hours are 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM and 9:30 PM - 8:00 AM. We prefer that you can work two afternoon/evening shifts and two night shifts per week. Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are according to collective agreements.

Start Date

Immediately or according to agreement.

Being Employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that support your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you will need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
