Personal Assistant for a Happy Boy in Tyresö - Are You Our Next Star?

We are looking for a female personal assistant who is a cheerful, responsible, and social person who wants to make a difference in the daily life of a wonderful boy with significant disabilities. You are someone who is punctual, reliable, and loves to create meaningful relationships. The work done here is truly important.

The Position

This boy lives with extensive multiple disabilities and needs assistance with all transfers, hygiene, motor training, medication, feeding, and care. He loves walks in his stroller, horseback riding, music, children's programs, and just cuddling at home. Small outings are also fun.

What We Are Looking for in a Personal Assistant

We are looking for a responsible, reliable, and cheerful person who is confident in their professional role. You enjoy getting to know and creating genuine relationships, and you have a good ability to read and understand others. It is important that you are curious, patient, and have a desire to truly understand this boy and his needs, especially since he does not have a verbal language.

We see that you are smoke-free, speak and understand Swedish well, and view this job as a long-term and important part of your working life. Since the job involves some lifting, it is also important that you are in good physical shape.

As an assistant here, you get to be a creative and imaginative person who sees opportunities for play and fun while creating a safe and relaxed environment for the client. Humor and inventiveness are valued traits, as well as the ability to adapt to the client's daily condition and needs; you are empathetic.

Work Hours

The position is approximately 25-50% with working hours primarily in the afternoons/evenings, about 2 shifts per week and uneven weekends. We offer working hours where we collaboratively create a schedule that suits both you and our family, but the weekends are rotating. We are looking for someone who wants a long-term and rewarding job where you can truly make a difference in this boy's life.

Start according to agreement but preferably during April/May.

Experience in care and support or with children is an advantage, but your personality and ability to build a good relationship with the boy and his family are the most important.
