At NÄRA, we have been working with personal assistance since 1995. We want our clients to experience quality in their assistance. Quality is not the same for everyone - we appreciate different things, have different dreams, and above all, different ways of wanting to live our lives. Personal assistance at NÄRA is therefore performed with respect for the individual's self-determination.

A boy in his teenage years is looking for an experienced assistant. He lives with his family in Täby. During the day, he attends school and does not require assistance at that time. You will meet him after his school day and help him with whatever necessary for the rest of the afternoon/evening.

He has a severe multiple disability, and as an assistant, you will help him with everything in his daily life. He uses various aids such as orthoses, ceiling lift, inhalator, suction machine, oxygen, and couch assist machine.

We believe that the person applying for this position is confident, meticulous, and empathetic. We would like you to be able to speak and understand English. If you know Mongolian, that is also a plus.

Requirements:

• Experience of epilepsy

Merits:

• Experience with the helping-aids the client uses. You will also receive all necessary training on-site, so this is not a requirement.

The work initially involves being a substitute on an as-needed basis, with the possibility of fixed shifts for the right person. The hours are mainly evenings on weekdays, but weekends may also occur:

• 16:00–20:00 or 16:00–21:00 (weekdays)
