Business Developer for SiS Family Treatment

The Swedish National Board of Institutional Care, SiS, is an authority responsible for individually tailored compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial issues and for adults with substance abuse. SiS also implements secure youth care. We do this in youth homes and homes for adults with substance abuse across the country. At SiS, your work life becomes an exciting challenge. Regardless of where in our organization you work or what position you hold, you help create life-changing transformations.

At our headquarters in Solna Business Park, we are about 350 employees, and together we work to support and develop the authority with around 4000 employees.

Job Description

Do you want to be part of SiS's development journey with family treatment? We are looking for a business developer for the task of developing SiS's work with family treatment within youth care.

The assignment consists of several parts such as supervision, quality assurance, follow-up, and method development.

You will digitally supervise our family therapists working in the authority's 22 youth homes. Their families/cases are the focus, although it is also relevant to support around organization and process. The supervision sessions are also used as a forum for information and questions of a more overarching nature.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for quality assurance of SiS family treatment, manage methodological issues, and enhance and develop the family therapists' toolbox. The assignment may also involve contributing to the implementation and follow-up of introducing family treatment within SiS.

The position may also include other tasks occurring within the unit. This position is new, just as the role of family therapist is new in our youth homes, so we will jointly shape it within our unit for operational support and investigation.

One task may be to educate and be the method responsible for the parenting support program Komet. It may also be relevant to carry out training initiatives in cognitive behavioral therapy, systems theory, and more.

The position will involve travel throughout Sweden. You will have the opportunity to work partially remotely.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a licensed psychologist or has another higher education in the field (for example, social worker, behavioral scientist)
  • Has experience in family treatment work
  • Has knowledge and familiarity with CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and the principles of RBM (risk, need, responsiveness), which are the theoretical frameworks we work from.

It is advantageous if you also have:

  • Further education equivalent to “step 2” in family therapy or CBT.
  • Experience in supervision, accustomed to training, knowledge of quality assurance and follow-up.
  • Experience working with relevant interventions and programs such as FFT (Functional Family Therapy), MST (Multisystemic Therapy), TFCO (Treatment Foster Care Oregon), or other more intensive work with families/parents than in traditional open care.

To thrive in the role, we see that you have personal maturity and a good ability to create alliances, take initiative, drive processes forward, and work independently. Furthermore, you have a very good ability to build relationships with family therapists. It is important that you can create engagement and participation, as well as convey knowledge and guide in the treatment work. We place great emphasis on your personal suitability.

At SiS, we care about good employee cooperation. This means that you as an employee take responsibility for your work, contribute to development, and participate in good collaboration. Read more about our employee cooperation.

Employment

The position is a permanent full-time employment and begins with a six-month probationary period.

Travel is required for the position.

Start date is according to agreement.
