We are looking for a case officer with a focus on transport services

For an important and meaningful job. The position is located in the Unit for Administration and Economics within the Department of Disability, Social Psychiatry, and Elderly Care.

Welcome to us

The Unit for Administration and Economics is a newly established unit as of April 1, 2025, within the authority side of the Department of Disability, Social Psychiatry, and Elderly Care.

The main task of the unit is to provide support in administrative and economic processes to the ordering units within the department. The work includes, among other things, administrative support and service, invoice management, fee management, financial follow-ups, operational follow-ups, contract follow-ups, as well as handling transport services, national transport services, municipal housing allowance for persons with disabilities, safety alarms for persons under 65 years without other interventions, and sick pay compensation within personal assistance.

The unit is led by a unit manager and consists of administrative assistants, case officers, financial case officers, and operational controllers.

Your role

In your role as a case officer, you will primarily handle cases regarding transport services, national transport services, and municipal housing allowance for persons with disabilities (KBF). Other related tasks may also occur.

You will be part of a group with two other case officers, who collaborate and support each other as needed.

Your skills and experience

You who are applying should have:

  • A degree in social work.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Experience working with authority exercise as a case officer or social worker.
  • Experience handling cases regarding transport services.
  • Experience handling cases regarding national transport services.
  • Experience handling cases regarding municipal housing allowance for persons with disabilities (KBF).

To succeed in the role, it is important that you:

  • Take responsibility for your work and can independently drive tasks forward.
  • Are structured and have the ability to plan and organize work effectively, as well as prioritize and meet set deadlines.
  • Are meticulous and thorough in your way of performing tasks and have a high quality standard.
  • Are flexible and can adjust and prioritize tasks based on new circumstances.
  • Have good collaboration skills and are service-oriented.

To work with the elderly and people with disabilities in their homes at the City of Stockholm, you must present an extract from the criminal record. The extract should not be older than 6 months from the date of issue.
