Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each customer is unique, and your tasks vary according to the customer's needs. You respect the customer's self-determination and integrity and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the Position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, committed, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a 14-year-old girl living in Vallentuna
• has good knowledge of Swedish
• holds a B driver's license
• is tolerant of pets as the customer has a dog

It is also advantageous if you:

• have previously worked as a personal assistant or in a similar role
• share the customer’s interests
• are calm, attentive, and empathetic
• take initiative and can motivate the customer in certain situations
• have experience with autism and epilepsy

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working Hours, Employment Rate, and Salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 10%. The job involves working every Thursday between 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM. There is also the possibility to work extra on weekends if needed.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation will be in accordance with collective agreements.

Being Employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as an employer are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as a personal assistant for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a possible employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
