About the Role

As a personal assistant, you will work closely with a man with Down syndrome who has a big heart and lots of energy. The days consist of long walks, play, and swimming, where you help create a safe, active, and joyful everyday life where he can develop and be himself. The work includes support during meals, personal hygiene, and communication using signs.

You will help him to be as independent as possible and be there as support when challenges arise. The role requires patience, flexibility, and the ability to see opportunities even in more demanding situations.

You are patient, positive, and secure in yourself.
You are active, creative, and can follow routines while being flexible.
You enjoy physical activity.
Experience in care, support, or education is an advantage.
A driver's license (manual) and swimming ability are required.

Knowledge of sign language is an advantage but not a requirement; training will be provided if needed.

WORKING HOURS AND EMPLOYMENT DEGREE

Working hours are distributed over both days and evenings, as well as every other weekend. The position is 90% with the possibility of extra shifts.

SALARY

At Vivida, as an assistant, you will receive a fixed base salary per hour + vacation pay and any additional compensation. A collective agreement is in place.

START DATE

I need a new assistant as soon as possible, and if we are a good match, we will agree on a start date.
