Stegehus HVB is looking for hourly substitutes and summer positions for 2026.

We are looking for you who have a two-year post-secondary education aimed at social work and preferably experience within the target group.

The organization operates a resource school and associated housing for children and young people with a need for an adapted study environment and associated accommodation. The operation is located in Vikbolandet near Stegeborg. Stegehus is a non-profit organization that caters to children and young people with neuropsychiatric disabilities but also to children who have not received a diagnosis but need a comprehensive solution for school and housing. Stegehus has welcomed children and young people in a family-like environment and safe atmosphere since 1977, and the care of the children always comes first.

We now need to expand with more substitutes for our accommodations. At Stegehus, you will be part of a workgroup of about 4-6 people, and solo work may occur. We work according to a 4-week schedule where the position includes evenings, weekends, and nights. Central to your work is your ability to create good relationships with the children, their families, and your colleagues. The tasks include all everyday chores to create structure and good conditions around the children's basic needs.

You work together with your colleagues to create predictability and clarity for the children, where much is about meeting the children's primary needs in terms of sleep, nutrition, exercise, social interaction, and safety. Together, you work to create comfort and security in the house you work in. In the houses, there are 1 to 4 children living.

You should have a good understanding of how you function in different situations and know your strengths and areas for development. In this recruitment, we are looking for people who have a natural ability to be flexible and structured as the tasks are closely linked to the children's needs and developmental phases.

It is an advantage if you can inspire and enjoy being active.

You need to have a driver's license and a car to get to work, and you will also be driving in the job.

Education Requirements
