Primary Care Center Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated health centers, Vårdcentrum Finspång, Child Health Care Unit, 1177 and emergency centers in the evening and on weekends, and the General Medicine Training Center. We conduct a broad primary care operation where we offer care to everyone throughout their lives; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients at the end of life.

We are part of Region Östergötland's Primary Care Center and we are one of four health centers in the municipality. The health center is centrally located near the hospital in Motala and currently has about 15,550 registered patients. We have a good collaboration with our healthcare neighbors, both within Region Östergötland and in the municipality. We have a development-inspired approach and conduct a broad primary care operation where we meet patients of all ages with many different symptoms. At the health center, there are medical consultations, specialist nurse consultations, nursing consultations, child health care, psychosocial competence, foot care, and laboratory services. We also take responsibility for several nursing homes. We have well-functioning continuing education, where we allocate time for training both internally and externally. The health center has specialists in General Medicine, ST/AT doctors in training, and junior doctors. We have district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, administrative staff, and social workers, among others. We are about 65 employees who enjoy working together in an open and warm work climate.

Motala, Östergötland's lake city, is beautifully situated by Lake Vättern where Göta Canal flows out from the east. Job Description

We are now looking for a social worker for our counseling reception, which consists of four social workers. The reception is the hub for the management of mental health at the health center and works closely with other professional groups. In recent years, we have worked to implement Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) as part of a regional project, and we are now in a phase of making this approach permanent, with you as a social worker being a central part of it. We also offer Internet-based CBT. There is room to further develop working methods in the future. There is an active social worker network in the region that you will be part of. Supervision is a given for the professions involved.

About You

You are preferably a licensed health and medical care social worker with basic psychotherapy training focused on CBT, or a social worker with basic psychotherapy training focused on CBT. It is an advantage to be a licensed health and medical care social worker and to have experience in primary care.

It is also an advantage if you have experience working with Internet-based CBT, FACT, or group therapy.

As a person, you are open to new ideas, positive, and have good collaboration skills. You are motivated to work in an environment where you sometimes need to think outside the box to find what is best for the patient while being time-efficient. You are goal-oriented and have the ability to organize and plan your work so that the operation develops both in the short and long term.
