Personal assistance is a service under LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done.

Your tasks include being a personal assistant in daily activities and helping with horse riding once a week. During the riding, double assistance is required. You will also participate in educational meals with the client during your working hours. Other activities may include swimming in a pool and training at the gym. The client's main interests are movies, music, cooking, and animals.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a 32-year-old woman living in Vallastaden, Linköping

• lives in Linköping or nearby

• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• holds a B driver's license

• is non-smoking

• can tolerate pets

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience in similar work

• have knowledge of sign language communication

• share the client's interests

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts". We are currently looking for two people for two positions of approximately 75% each. The employment rate can be discussed if you have other preferences. The position involves work during the day, evening, and night, on weekdays and weekends.

We are also looking for on-call substitutes who can work as needed. The position as an on-call substitute is perfect for you who are studying and want to work extra in the evenings, nights, and weekends.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation will be according to collective agreements.

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present a valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
