Job Description
SiS is an authority that conducts socially important activities by providing compulsory care and treatment to young people and adults with serious psychosocial problems and substance abuse. This activity is part of the care chain aimed at providing individuals with the conditions for a socially functioning life. SiS also implements closed youth care. SiS youth homes.
Folåsa receives school-age girls with psychosocial issues as well as criminality and substance abuse. At Folåsa, we are investing in increasing staffing in our departments as a quality enhancement for the target group where you as a treatment pedagogue have the opportunity to be part of our development journey!
Through your employment as a treatment pedagogue, you can make a difference for our youth.
In our operations, you as a treatment pedagogue have the opportunity for treatment work in an environment with high security and good staffing density. The youth at SiS have backgrounds marked by unpredictability and stress in various forms, which means your focus is on working professionally with treatment work, care and motivational work, and being a support in everyday life. This is a job for you who see a positive challenge in working with vulnerable girls in a difficult life situation. You will be part of the youth's care and treatment, schooling, cooking and cleaning routines, as well as weekend and evening activities. You work on building secure relationships, among other things through case management but also with selected and well-functioning treatment methods. Documentation is an important part of your work and contributes to legal security, planning, and follow-up of our operations.

Qualifications
Requirements for the position are:
- Post-secondary education of at least two years in accordance with the new Social Services Ordinance. This can be education in areas such as social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or other relevant fields.
- Driver's license B
- Good Swedish in speech and writing
Personal Qualities
To succeed in your work, you have a solid positive view of people. You are motivated to help people in a vulnerable life situation and you share SiS's values, to be a place for change. Furthermore, you have a good ability to create engagement and participation among our youth. As a person, you are secure in yourself and have an easy time building relationships with youth as well as with others in the staff group. You have good communication skills and can maintain your calm even in pressured situations. You find it easy to collaborate with others and can handle conflicts constructively.

Employment:
The position is a permanent full-time employment starting with a six-month probationary period.
Start date according to agreement.
Working hours are according to schedule, day - evening and weekend.
As a new employee, you will undergo SiS's basic training for 10 weeks. In the training, theory is combined with a guided introduction, and it is important that you who work closely with youth and clients have the tools you need. At SiS, you as a treatment pedagogue receive a training package that includes:
- SiS's ten-week basic training
- SiS's own program for effective conflict management
- Suicide prevention
- Motivational interviewing (MI)
Interviews may be conducted on an ongoing basis.
