What we are looking for

We are now looking for an engaged support pedagogue for our daily activity Agera in Linköping. A support pedagogue education is a requirement, and experience working as a support pedagogue with the target group, as well as knowledge of and/or experience with methods and approaches in clear pedagogy, low-affect responses, challenging behavior, motivational interviewing, and sign language support is advantageous.

At Agera's daily activity, we work with various activities including art, crafts, creative writing, theater, music, ceramics, and clay. Therefore, it is beneficial if you have knowledge in any of these areas. Since Agera organizes trips with a minibus, we prefer that you have a driving license.

About the role

Agera is a daily activity aimed at individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism who have LSS decisions. The goal at Agera is to offer our participants meaningful engagement based on individual wishes and needs. We work to strengthen participants' participation and independence.

You will work to support our participants and plan and develop the activities together with your colleagues. As a support pedagogue, you contribute with higher competence regarding disabilities, responses and approaches, evidence-based methods, communication and alternative communication, as well as documentation. As a support pedagogue, you have a responsibility to guide your colleagues towards possible solutions in the pedagogical work, be proactive in planning, testing, implementing, and following up on new working methods. Together with the manager, you ensure that the work with the participants is of good quality.

Agera is located at Gesällgatan 5 in Linköping, and the team consists of one support pedagogue and two support assistants, one of whom has the role of team leader.
