Your tasks

As a Support Educator with us, you will have a meaningful and challenging role in direct work with our 4 adult users where you can truly make a difference!

In your role as a Support Educator, you play an important part in providing structure, direction, and quality in the pedagogical work with the goal that each user has a well-functioning everyday life and occupation. A low-arousal approach permeates the operations, as does a strong focus on motivation, independence, and finding new ways forward – even when change meets resistance.

You actively work with implementation plans and action plans and are involved in developing working methods and structure together with the team. You collaborate closely with healthcare, including through regular rehabilitation meetings, and contribute to a cohesive and qualitative support for the residents. The assignment also includes documentation, medication delegation, and practical tasks in daily life such as cleaning and cooking when needed.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has completed post-secondary education as a Social Educator or Support Educator. You preferably have experience working in social psychiatry, addiction, or psychosocial issues. Furthermore, we view knowledge in ESL, MI, and low-arousal approaches positively.

Above all, we seek someone who is secure in themselves, creative in their working methods, and has the ability to motivate others – even when results take time and require patience.

As a person, you are secure, stable, and have good self-awareness, distinguishing between the personal and professional. You are skilled at building trusting relationships with those you meet and enjoy working in a team where you encourage teamwork. You actively contribute to group processes and a good working environment.

Additionally, you take independent responsibility for structuring your tasks efficiently, being flexible, and always wanting to be part of the solution with the best interests of the organization in focus!

To thrive and succeed in the role, we see that you create motivation in your work and inspire the individuals you meet to achieve their goals and purposes. Since communication is central to the role, we expect you to communicate well in Swedish both verbally and in writing.

As a Support Educator with us, you will work varied hours including days, evenings, sleeping on-call, and every other weekend. A driving license is desirable but not a requirement.
