Who are we?

Mångfaldshuset is a place where differences become strengths and where young people have the opportunity to grow, create, and feel a sense of community. Our youth center is the heart of the operation – a safe and welcoming environment where young people can meet, try new activities, and find their own path. We are part of Community Corner Mångfaldshuset, an initiative that gathers various actors and activities under one roof to create a vibrant meeting place in Norrköping. Here we work together to promote participation, cultural exchange, and social sustainability. This means that as a youth leader, you become part of a larger context where collaboration and community are the keys to success.

Mångfaldshuset is a municipal operation that belongs to the Growth and Development Office and responds to the Culture and Leisure Committee. The youth center is one of twelve youth centers in the municipality, and together we are about 75 employees within the youth center operations.

Currently, six employees work at Mångfaldshuset, one of whom is the youth center manager who leads the daily work together with the team.

Your responsibilities

As a youth leader with us, you will become an important part of the young people's everyday lives. You create activities that inspire and engage, ranging from spontaneous meetings to planned projects.

You are the one who sees, listens, and supports. You are a safe adult who is there when needed. Together with your team, you develop the operations and build bridges to local actors.

The work is varied and mainly takes place in the evenings and on weekends, which allows you to be where young people are most active. Since we are part of Community Corner Mångfaldshuset, you will also work on issues that concern the entire residential area and be an important part of the collaboration between the actors present in our premises.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is driven to work with young people and has relevant post-secondary education as a youth leader, social worker, or other social pedagogical education.

You have experience in open leisure activities and cross-sectional collaboration. We see that you have knowledge of associations, music, and sports.

As a person, you have the ability to create relationships based on respect and trust. You are skilled at communicating and can adapt your communication to the person you meet.

You are creative, flexible, and have an open mind for new ideas. You have a genuine commitment and an inclusive approach.
