Funkiscoachen (A.E Gruppen) helps individuals with assistance needs to manage their own assistance. The employer has a collective agreement.
We are now looking for two personal assistants for a man with an acquired neck injury, paralyzed from the chest/shoulders.
The man needs help with his daily living activities around the clock.
Some interests that may be beneficial: Cooking, nature, sports, hunting & fishing, gardening, dogs & cats, farm animals (chickens, horse), creating/building, etc.
You should be comfortable working both independently and in a team.
Experience with similar disabilities is an advantage but not a requirement as training will be provided over time.
You should be able to work longer shifts. Scheduling is done approximately 8 weeks at a time. Shifts are agreed upon, day, evening & night.
For one of the positions, we are looking for awake night shifts, 36 hours/week.
A valid driver's license (B) and access to a car are required to reach the workplace. The workplace is located near Stavsjö.
The positions are flexible with good opportunities for permanent employment. A 6-month probationary period applies.
