In the municipal preschools, we work according to a common operational idea. All children have the right to an equivalent preschool, and the democratic mission is the starting point for education. Preschool is a learning meeting place where children have the right to play, wonder, and feel hopeful about the future.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work as a substitute preschool assistant, so it is advantageous if you have previous experience in childcare. In this role, you will work with children aged 1-5 years.

Together with other staff, you will provide children with a safe, fun, and educational environment in preschool.

In preschool, you always have the children in focus.

As a substitute, you actively participate in the children's group and in most daily tasks that occur within the operations, such as playing with the children, participating in activities, gatherings, singing and storytelling sessions, and educational meals. Much outdoor activity is included among the tasks.

The needs of the preschools dictate your working hours. You may start as early as 6:30 AM and finish as late as 6:30 PM. We also have a night, evening, and weekend preschool with different working hours that you can express interest in.

QUALIFICATIONS

To work as a substitute preschool assistant in Enköping Municipality, you must meet the following requirements:

• You must have a work permit. In your application, you should specify your citizenship.
• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must be able to read and speak Swedish.
• It is advantageous if you have a car and a driver's license, as work will take place at several of our preschools located in the surrounding areas outside central Enköping.

As a substitute, you should be able to step in at short notice, be flexible with hours, and have the ability to work at all our different preschools. The number of shifts is determined by the needs of the preschools and may vary from week to week, but we prefer that you can be available to work about 2-3 days a week or more.

We place great importance on your personal suitability when hiring substitutes. You find it easy to collaborate with others and adapt to the needs of the preschools.
