We are now looking for an independent and senior accounting economist with experience in municipal accounting for our client in Sigtuna.

About the position The assignment includes work with:

- Annual financial statements
- Reconciliation of balance accounts
- Preparation of materials for the annual report
- Preparation of information for the Financial Statement Summary (RS)
- Quality assurance of RS materials
- Reporting according to SCB's requirements
- Compilation of group parts within the municipal group
- Consolidation work regarding the municipality's companies
- Reconciliation and dialogue with municipal companies

The work is carried out in close dialogue with other colleagues in the accounting unit.

Requirements for the position

- At least 5 years of experience in accounting work
- Documented experience in municipal accounting at a comprehensive level
- Experience with annual financial statements and annual reports
- Good knowledge of municipal regulations such as: Municipal Accounting Act & Council for Municipal Accounting (RKR)

It is also an advantage if you have:
- Experience in reporting RS
- Experience in group financial statements within a municipality or corporate group
- Experience with the financial system Raindance

Other

The assignment is planned to be carried out during the period 2025-01-05 – 2025-03-30 with a possible extension.

Estimated scope: about 30-40 hours per week.

The work can be performed both on-site in the municipality and remotely to some extent by agreement.
