The Role of Medical Administrator

As a medical administrator with us, you will work towards the goal of providing good service to patients and healthcare staff while being part of the workgroup. You will work with various administrative tasks such as registering visits, national quality registers, cash handling, inventory, and patient administrative documentation. You will have your own responsibilities. The position includes working in different computer systems, including Cosmic, Obstetrix, and GynOp.

Your Future Workplace

At the women's clinic in Eksjö, we aim to provide the best care from the beginning to the end of life. About 1000-1200 children are born here each year, and approximately 115 employees work here. We provide comprehensive care to women of all ages and work in teams with healthcare during pregnancy, childbirth, gynecological diseases, and promote sexual health. Women's health care is part of the women's clinic.

In the administrative unit of the women's clinic, we have good cohesion in the group and are a great work team. We help and support each other. We have varied tasks where we also have the opportunity to develop individually. We respect each other and are happy to share the knowledge we have. We have flexible working hours and tasks. We provide a good introduction.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is a trained medical administrator, medical secretary, or is currently studying one of the above. Medical administrator students can work as medical secretaries after one year of studies.

If you have previous experience in the profession and have worked with Cosmic, it is an advantage, but not a requirement. To do a good job, you need to have good language skills in Swedish, be meticulous, and be able to work in a structured manner. To ensure good summer planning, we view positively if you can work 8 weeks during the summer. Introduction will take place in addition to these weeks.

You enjoy working independently and plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively. While you enjoy working independently, you should also be able to work well with other colleagues. It means a lot to us that you have a positive attitude, and together we create high patient safety and good accessibility, with the patient in focus. Personal suitability is highly valued.
