For the summer of 2026, we invite you to apply for summer jobs in one of our facilities at Höglandssjukhuset in Eksjö, Länssjukhuset Ryhov in Jönköping, or Värnamo Hospital. A summer job with us means that you contribute to securing both your own and someone else's summer.

The Role of Medical Administrator

In the role of medical administrator in the X-ray department, you will have a variety of tasks, including dictation writing, referral management, reception work, and work in our media unit that handles image management. In X-ray, we have good teamwork with all professions, and the more you learn, the more interesting and fun it becomes.

The summer positions are temporary full-time employment with daytime working hours on weekdays.

We need substitutes throughout the entire summer job period, which is from June 8 to August 23.

The X-ray department is a county-wide clinic with over 380 employees. We conduct modern high-tech diagnostics and offer a wide and advanced range of examinations. At all three hospitals, the X-ray department has state-of-the-art facilities and a wonderful community. We work for transparency and job satisfaction. The X-ray department promotes research and innovation in radiology for all our professional categories. All X-ray departments in the county perform examinations in conventional X-ray, computed tomography, fluoroscopy, magnetic resonance imaging, and ultrasound. What is special about our respective departments is that:

• Eksjö: Here, X-ray is located at Höglandssjukhuset, but we also have X-ray operations in Nässjö, Tranås, and Vetlanda.
• Jönköping: Länssjukhuset Ryhov is our largest hospital, which also offers angiography/interventions and nuclear medicine.
• Värnamo: Värnamo Hospital is the smallest hospital in the county but has the same great commitment and state-of-the-art equipment.
• Mammography: A dedicated unit at Länssjukhuset Ryhov focusing on breast cancer diagnostics.

You are a trained medical administrator/medical secretary or have completed at least two semesters of a medical administrative program by the summer of 2026.
