Job Description

We are now looking for a driven labor law attorney/negotiator who wants to become part of our successful team at Livsmedelsföretagen. If you are passionate about labor law, negotiations, and problem-solving, this is the right opportunity for you!

Livsmedelsföretagen represents a diverse range of companies in Sweden that produce food and beverages, from international corporations to smaller family-owned businesses.

As part of our team, you will:

• Support our member companies in both local and central union negotiations.
• Provide continuous advice and follow-up.
• Work independently both in the field and at our office in Stockholm, with access to experienced colleagues for support and collaboration.
• Actively participate in our processes at the Labor Court and general courts.

We also value experience from other areas of law, such as administrative law, EU law, and corporate law, which is advantageous.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a law degree and several years of experience in labor law from a law firm, court, or employer organization. You are a social and communicative person with good judgment, high integrity, and analytical skills. You thrive in a dynamic role with a fast pace where you can take significant responsibility and work carefully and efficiently.

The work is both operational and strategic, which you find an exciting challenge. With your natural service orientation and willingness to collaborate, you want to make a difference for our member companies. Travel within Sweden is required, so a driver's license is a must.

You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

About the Company

Livsmedelsföretagen is the employer and industry organization for Sweden's food producers. We are a prominent part of the Swedish Business Association and have an office in Näringslivets Hus in Östermalm, Stockholm, and operate throughout the country. Approximately 25 people work at our office – all with expertise in their field - of which the negotiation department consists of nine people who work in a nearly unique team spirit. Our primary guiding principle in our work is member benefit, which permeates our entire operation.

We have about 800 member companies, both small and large, with both Swedish and foreign owners. Approximately 50,000 people work in our member companies. Livsmedelsföretagen represents and promotes the common interests of companies regarding employer issues and industry-specific matters.

The lawyers in the negotiation department represent companies in their role as employers, providing legal advice, training, negotiation assistance, and court processes. Livsmedelsföretagen signs the industry's collective agreements with our union counterparts and establishes the so-called "Mark" for the Swedish labor market together with some other unions within the industry.
