About the opportunity and our client

Our client, a well-known and established company with about 250 employees, is now looking for their next business controller with a focus on IT. In this role, you will have overall responsibility for the controller operations towards IT and be a proactive support to the IT manager in building up the financial governance of IT. Furthermore, you will work with financial monitoring, planning, and reporting of IT's operations, drive budget/forecast processes within IT, and be part of IT's management team. At our client, you will become a key player with significant authority and good opportunities to influence their journey forward. Are you the one?

To fit in with our client and in the role, you have the following qualifications:

• University degree in economics, accounting, or a related field.
• Excellent analytical skills, good investigative ability, and high accuracy.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both verbal and written communication.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, a lack of prestige, and a doer mentality.

Professionally, you will operate in a broad role, and we see that you have previously worked in a similar work environment. In other words, you have experience in a role as a Business Controller and as a controller towards an IT department, as well as experience in financial management and financial monitoring and analysis. We also see that you are proficient in Excel and a super-user of systems in general as you will have significant authority and ownership in this role. Experience from the financial sector is considered an advantage.
