The royal palaces are surrounded by picturesque parks that serve as notable destinations. All parks are open year-round, 24/7.

We are now seeking gardeners for the summer season of 2025 for Drottningholm Palace Park, Hagaparken, Ulriksdal Palace Park, Gripsholm Palace Park, Strömsholm Palace Park, and Tullgarn Palace Park. The seasonal period extends from April 1 to November 30, but it is of course possible to work for a shorter period.

Job Responsibilities:

As a gardener, you contribute to creating a beautiful and pleasant outdoor environment. You perform all tasks related to green space maintenance and care. Common tasks include; mowing, weeding, hedge trimming, clearing grass and brush, watering, caring for plantings, and cleaning/litter picking.

Qualifications:

• Gardening education or documented experience in similar tasks
• You must be at least 18 years old
• Strong interest in green outdoor environments and sustainability issues related to the work.
• Experience with machinery is an advantage
• Driving license (B) is an advantage

Personal Qualities:

As a person, you have a strong service mindset and sense of responsibility. You are flexible, willing to take initiative, and have good teamwork skills. It is also important that you are in good physical shape as the work can be physically demanding.

Other Employment Information:

• The position is full-time.
• The duration of employment is determined by agreement.
• Daytime working hours according to schedule. Scheduled weekend work may occur at Drottningholm, Haga, Ulriksdal, and Gripsholm.
• A mandatory introductory session will be conducted at the start of employment.
• Any requests for time off during the season should be presented with the application. Vacation is granted restrictively.
• Salary according to applicable agreements.
• Before employment, a background check for any payment remarks will be conducted.
• The trade unions are represented by Saco-S, Seko, and OFR/S.
