Hunter Stockholm started its operations in 1970 under the name Hundaffären as one of Stockholm's first specialized stores for dog owners. In 2018, we became Sweden's first Hunter Brand Store, and today we can offer our customers the entire range from the German family business, www.hunter.de
Hunter Stockholm consists of a store for dog and cat accessories, dog daycare, dog grooming, and veterinary services.
Our ambition is to offer our customers quality products combined with a high level of customer service and knowledge about dogs. Therefore, you who will work with us need to have solid knowledge about dogs and relevant education (e.g., animal high school, nature conservation high school, or dog care education). Experience in selling products aimed at dog owners is an advantage, as part of the job involves retail sales.
We are a small team where everyone depends on each other to deliver at the level our customers expect, and we focus heavily on ensuring that all employees feel good and know they are an important part of the business.

You will work in a small team where everyone helps with everything required for the daily operations. The position is primarily as a dog caregiver, but retail work is also included. Tasks included in the position:
- Dog walks
- Activation and play with the dogs between walks
- Nail trimming
- Bathing and drying dogs
- Retail sales
- Unpacking and pricing of goods
- General cleaning and waste disposal
The position is 80% of full-time, i.e., 32 hours/week on average on a 3-week rolling schedule. There are good opportunities if you want to work more beyond scheduled working hours.
Working hours vary according to a weekly schedule where you sometimes open the daycare at 7:30 AM and work until the afternoon, or start in the morning and work until closing at 6 PM. Every third weekend, you work in the store on Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM, except during the summer months when the store is only open on weekdays.
A 6-month probationary period applies, after which the employment will transition to a permanent position.
Hourly wage according to agreement. Vacation days and vacation pay according to the Vacation Act.
