We work with high-quality fresh produce, cheeses and delicacies, dry-aged meat, fresh fish, and seafood. About the role We are looking for an engaged and driven Assistant Department Manager for the Cheese Department at Sabis Fältöversten. In this role, you will act as the deputy to the department manager and play a key role in the daily operations and development of the department. Together with the department manager, you will be responsible for purchasing, sales, budget, and waste, while coaching and inspiring employees to achieve our common goals.

You will ensure that the department delivers according to Sabis' customer promise and works according to our vision to create a world-class experience for our customers. When the department manager is not present, you will take primary responsibility for the department and ensure that operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Your profile We are looking for an engaged and innovative person with a genuine interest in food and people. As a leader, you are attentive and goal-oriented with a natural ability to inspire and develop your team. You enjoy collaborating and are driven by seeing both employees and the business grow.

We see that you have previous experience in a similar role with responsibility and familiarity with working with fresh produce. Your passion for food and ingredients will be a great asset in this role.
