About the Job
As a strategic purchaser, you will conduct procurements in a businesslike, efficient manner and in accordance with applicable procurement legislation, primarily the Public Procurement Act (LOU).
The purchasing work is carried out from a holistic perspective in dialogue with the business, covering everything from needs assessment to follow-up and analysis. You will lead procurement projects, assist reference groups in formulating requirements, procure, and be responsible for commercial contract management. Furthermore, you will actively work in category management and contribute to developing specific category strategies. We appreciate if you are motivated to develop supplier contacts and support the business in delivery follow-up.
The purchasing unit conducts procurements and orders for the Swedish Tax Agency, the Enforcement Authority, the Payment Authority, and the Election Authority. The work is cross-functional with other colleagues with different competencies within the unit as well as the ordering business.
You plan your own workday and drive your cases both independently and in collaboration with knowledgeable colleagues. The work is qualified and spans many issues, providing you with new knowledge both broadly and in depth. Working hours are flexible, and it is a given for us that you should have a balance between work and leisure.
The purchasing unit consists of about 55 employees and is divided into four sections. Two sections with purchasers and strategic purchasers, one section focused on purchasing analysis and management, and one section for Sustainability and Travel.
The unit now needs to be strengthened with one Strategic Purchaser focusing on IT and two focusing on goods and services.
About You
To do a good job and thrive with us at the Swedish Tax Agency, you need to be attentive, think innovatively, and take responsibility. In this job, you should:
- be able to analyze information flows, see connections, and delineate
- have a very good ability to communicate and express yourself in speech and writing, both in Swedish and English
- be secure and stable as a person and in your professional role
- have a coaching approach, a holistic view, and be good at dialogue, anchoring, and collaboration.
You should also have:
- relevant higher education of 120 credits/180 ECTS (law, economics, logistics, or engineering) or other education deemed relevant, such as vocational training in strategic purchasing
- at least 4 years of current experience as a strategic purchaser/procurement officer
- current and good knowledge of the Public Procurement Act
- experience in following up requirements during the contract period (contract management).
It is desirable that you have experience in:
- requirement setting in the area of sustainability
- requirement setting in the area of security.
Good to Know
The employment is permanent and begins with a six-month probationary period.
Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with background checks according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our tasks in the security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
There is an opportunity for remote work to some extent.
