As a personal protection guard, you will work with the surveillance of an individual for their protection. This means personal protection of a person performed in their immediate vicinity to create an extra layer of protection against criminal attacks on their life, health, or freedom of movement.

Requirements

• Approved grades in Swedish and English at the high school level
• Driver's license B
• Approved Security Guard Training VU1 and VU2
• Two years of service as a security guard

Meritorious if you

• have worked with similar tasks previously
• have a civilian or military protection guard training
• have a Personal Protection Training

Guards at Securitas who are recruited as personal protection guards for the surveillance of individuals must have been assessed and demonstrated particularly good judgment for at least two (2) years in another part of Securitas' security operations.

Surveillance of individuals for their protection is a particularly qualified form of surveillance that places extra high demands on experience, judgment, mental stability, and social competence.

You are interested in technology and have an easy time understanding instructions. We see that you, as an applicant, are an independent person who trusts your own abilities, quickly understands problems, and solves them creatively. For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to each regulation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns legal compliance, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
