Job Responsibilities

Stadsfastigheter is now seeking two project managers for technical security systems for the Protection Section. The Protection Section works to protect and preserve the city's properties from risks, dangers, and damages. The Protection Section has an overarching responsibility to lead, develop, and coordinate security, fire protection, crisis preparedness, insurance and damage coordination, and health protection based on the local supply provider's mission and responsibility.

As part of Stadsfastigheter's local supply mission, the responsibility includes being the service and system owner for the city's burglary alarms and access control systems. This entails a comprehensive responsibility for managing, developing, and project managing security installations that meet the needs of the operations and address the specific threats and risks present. This responsibility includes ensuring that security installations are effective, updated, and adapted to requirements.

As a project manager, you will work with the following tasks:

Lead the takeover of security installations on internal properties and external rentals for the change of new service and system owners (facility owners) Stadsfastigheter.
Support the city's operations in identifying current and future needs for security installations.
Develop technical and functional requirements in e.g. procurements, orders, and internal project guidelines.
Financial budgeting and project management of new and replacement of existing security installations.
Follow-up and quality assurance of the functionality and purpose of security installations.
Long-term planning of maintenance work for security installations.
Participate and develop guiding instructions and guidelines for the city's security installations within the framework of operational protection and plan and implement information and training initiatives.
Collaborate and develop security installations together with e.g. Malmö alarm center and facility managers in Kommunteknik.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in security technology, such as a security technician, project manager, designer, constructor, or from another relevant role in the field. You have a university/college education of at least 180 credits or equivalent vocational training in the security field or long experience assessed as equivalent. We see that you have experience working with various security technical systems and solutions, such as burglary alarms, access control systems, including both hardware and software. You have good knowledge of the regulations and standards governing the security technology field. It is advantageous if you have experience with other security installations such as locks (physical and digital), fire alarms, sprinkler systems, and communication equipment. Furthermore, you also have good knowledge of the Office suite and express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

About the Workplace

Stadsfastigheter is Malmö city's local supplier responsible for building, managing, and renting out the city's properties. The goal is for the city's properties to be functional, safe, and resource-efficient to support effective and sustainable urban development. Stadsfastigheter manages a property portfolio of about 600 objects, a building area of 1.8 million square meters, and a land area of 5 million square meters. The property portfolio is diverse and includes essential buildings such as schools, preschools, and housing. But also cultural and recreational properties, such as historical buildings that preserve the city's heritage and identity. In addition, modern office buildings are managed.

The Service Administration is divided into five departments and offers everything from transportation services to IT and responding to citizens in Malmö city's contact center. We maintain streets, parks, green areas, and beaches, manage all of Malmö city's buildings, and ensure that our school students receive good and nutritious food.
