Your team

You will be part of the security unit, which is part of the Finance department, where we work cross-organizationally and together contribute to Sysav's overall goal of creating a resilient Sysav. The unit has a strong focus on collaboration, participation, and innovation. You will report to the Security Manager.

Your role

As a Safety Coordinator at Sysav, you have a coordination responsibility for risk, crisis, and continuity work. You will be a key person in building resilience and driving the development of Sysav's safety culture forward. You play an important role in creating a clear structure for the risk management process, with the goal of increasing safety awareness and strengthening the safety culture within Sysav's operations.

Your main tasks include:

• contributing to the development of Sysav's systematic safety work.
• supporting the operations in risk management and participating in operational and strategic safety forums as well as projects.
• developing and coordinating Sysav's work with crisis preparedness and continuity management, including training and exercises as well as updating governing documents.
• representing Sysav in collaboration forums, for example with municipalities and other community actors.
• monitoring the external environment and providing decision support in safety-related matters.
• supporting procurement related to safety and security protection.
• being involved in total defense planning.

Important experiences

• Relevant education, for example in safety, risk management, or crisis preparedness.
• Experience working with crisis preparedness, continuity management, and documentation.
• Desirable to have an understanding of public operations and experience collaborating with various community actors.
• Desirable to have experience in risk assessments and systematic risk work, preferably from socially critical operations.
