Information Security Coordinator

Your upcoming role

The tasks include, among other things, for the information security area:

• coordinate, lead and develop VA SYD's information security work
• support and be responsible for increased awareness and knowledge within the organization
• be responsible for developing and revising existing governing and guiding documents
• work with cases and be the contact person in incidents
• be responsible for monitoring relevant areas

We live in a world with increased digitalization. In order to meet the challenges this entails and to be able to deliver our vital community services, VA SYD needs to manage its information based on confidentiality, accuracy, traceability, and availability.

As an Information Security Coordinator, you will belong to the Security Coordination unit in the Security department. The unit's mission is to support the entire VA SYD. We coordinate, lead, and develop work within civil defense, data protection, information architecture, information security, crisis preparedness, and security protection. This means that we develop governing documents, educate, or otherwise assist the organization with expert knowledge, both proactively and reactively. In addition to the Information Security Coordinator, the Security Coordination unit consists of a unit manager, a data protection officer, a security strategist, two security coordinators, one of whom is a deputy security protection manager, and an information architect.

The position is located at VA SYD's headquarters near Malmö central.

As an Information Security Coordinator, you find it easy to collaborate with different people in a constructive and trustworthy manner, but you also enjoy working independently. You are an analytical problem solver and can communicate complex issues in an educational manner.

Your experiences

We are looking for someone who has:

• theoretical knowledge and experience of working with information security
• theoretical knowledge and/or experience of existing and upcoming NIS legislation is desirable
• theoretical knowledge and/or experience of confidentiality within the security area is desirable
• experience of working in public operations is an advantage
• good ability to express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing
