Job Opening: Alarm and Command Officer at the South Fire Department

The South Fire Department is responsible for the municipalities of Burlöv, Eslöv, Kävlinge, Lund, and Malmö. Our mission is to prevent accidents and efficiently carry out various rescue operations. Every day, our employees make efforts that impact the lives of others. We are a community partner that contributes to the safety of our citizens by working on social sustainability, individual knowledge, and collaboration with our municipalities. If an accident does occur, we are there to do everything we can.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and assess incoming emergency calls
• Dispatch appropriate resources and actively support ongoing operations
• Communicate via RAKEL, telephony, and video telephony
• Collaborate with various stakeholders such as SOS Alarm, Region Skåne, and the Police Authority

Qualifications:

• Experience in emergency dispatch and resource management
• Good teamwork skills and ability to make quick decisions
• Knowledge of municipal fire departments
• Driver's license B

The position involves shift work according to a specific schedule.
