In the role of HSE specialist, you will be an important part of our team within the business area Heat & Cooling. You will work closely with our operational activities and be a supportive and advisory partner to managers and employees on issues related to work environment, health, and environment. The role involves a mix of strategic and tactical work where you will have the opportunity to influence and develop our HSE work in the long term.

You will:

• support systematic work environment efforts and compliance within the HSE area.
• analyze and report HSE risks to propose improvements and long-term solutions.
• develop and implement methods and tools to further develop our HSE work, including behavior-based safety work.
• participate in projects and ensure that requirements and policies within the HSE area are followed.
• collaborate with other HSE functions within the group for knowledge exchange and development.

You will work closely with our production operations based at Örtofta combined heat and power plant, where you will also have close contact with environmental coordinators. The role gives you the opportunity to work both independently and in close collaboration with various business areas.

We are looking for someone who has previously worked with HSE issues, preferably within industrial operations. You have likely worked closely with both management teams and employees in the organization, both in daily HSE matters and at a more strategic level.

• Post-secondary education in HSE or equivalent work experience as assessed by us
• Work experience in work environment issues and ISO certification in environment/work environment
• Work experience in manufacturing and industrial industry
• Driver's license B

• You have previous experience of operational work in an industrial environment, preferably from operations or maintenance
• You are familiar with working with ISO 14 000 / 45 000 standards
• You have worked in another leading position or have equivalent leadership experience

• You prioritize safety above all, always
• You enjoy setting goals and achieving them together with others
• You find it easy to create and develop relationships
