Senior IT Operations Technician Wanted at the Prosecution Authority

The unit for IT operations, IT infrastructure, and IT security is seeking several senior IT operations technicians to participate in the daily work of operating and managing the Prosecution Authority's IT environment. As a senior IT operations technician, you will be part of a unit consisting of 50 employees across various technical areas.

The unit is responsible for:

• Ongoing operation and management of the authority's IT infrastructure, systems, and technical platforms
• Staffing of on-call services 24/7 all year round
• Coordination of second and third line support within our IT organization.

Your tasks

The work in the unit offers the opportunity to work with modern systems and tools in an IT environment with a strong emphasis on IT operations and IT security.

Your main responsibilities will primarily involve the operation and management of the Prosecution Authority's IT infrastructure and technical platforms, including maintenance, installation, configuration, as well as advanced troubleshooting and actions regarding the authority's IT infrastructure, technical platforms, and related support systems. Security thinking is well developed and is a natural part of the work.

You will also work with daily operations, incident management, monitoring alerts, maintaining and ensuring operation and availability, and being a natural part of the support chain that spans all technical areas, as well as participating in various projects. You will be a centrally located resource with a good overview of all systems and components to identify improvement measures.

Your qualities and qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• A high school diploma or equivalent education in IT that the employer deems relevant
• Several years of well-regarded work experience in the IT infrastructure area
• A strong technical interest and understanding of basic IT technology
• The willingness and ability to learn new generations of the current technical platform.

You have specialized expertise in some of the following areas:

• Scripting Automation (PowerShell)
• Virtualization (VMware, Nutanix, Containers, Podman, Kubernetes)
• Operating System Server (Windows Server 2022 and version management)
• Authentication (Kerberos, SAMLv2, OpenID-Connect)
• Active Directory
• Exchange, spam, and antivirus solutions (Fortimail, Fortisandbox)
• Certificate solutions, Encryption, and signing (PKI)
• Database management (MS SQL)

About the employment

We are a modern workplace that allows remote work, which means that many employees in the IT department work both in the office and virtually.

The employment is a permanent position with a 6-month probationary period.

Testing occurs in the recruitment process.
