About the position

Do you want to work with technology that makes a real difference for children and families across Sweden? Mitt Skolval is a market leader in school placement, and their SaaS platform is already used by a significant part of Sweden's population. As a frontend developer, you will help shape the technology behind a socially important system, in a close-knit team where your voice matters and your work makes a difference every day.

Your future tasks 

You will be the leading frontend developer in an experienced and tight-knit team, where you have a significant influence over technology choices and solutions. You will primarily work with frontend development in React and TypeScript, but the role also includes elements of backend in Node.js, perfect for you who enjoy working broadly and building functional holistic solutions.

Examples of tasks:

• Develop and maintain frontend in React and TypeScript
• Create and further develop internal components and structures
• Work with API integrations and some backend logic in Node.js
• Participate in technical decisions regarding architecture and implementation
• Contribute to a long-term sustainable and functional user interface

We are looking for someone who has

You have solid experience in frontend development in modern frameworks and are used to taking responsibility for technical decisions. You enjoy working closely with both code and operations and thrive in a team where collaboration, simplicity, and quality are in focus. You don’t need to be a designer, but you build solutions that are intuitive to use.

Requirements:

• Several years of experience in frontend development in React and TypeScript
• Experience working with APIs and some backend logic in Node.js
• Understanding of how to structure and scale a frontend codebase
• Post-secondary education in computer science or similar
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing

We consider it an advantage

• Experience with Express, Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD environments
• Previous work in small teams where broad responsibility is taken

Additional information 

• Start: By agreement
• Location: Stockholm City, with the possibility of remote work (about 2 days/week in the office as a starting point)
• Scope: Full-time
• Employment type: Permanent, with an initial probationary period
