About the Assignment

We are looking for an experienced test specialist for an assignment in the establishment of a national digital infrastructure for health, care, and welfare. The infrastructure aims to enable secure information sharing of health data between healthcare systems, with the goal of improving care quality, enhancing patient safety, and reducing the administrative burden on healthcare personnel.

You will work in an agile team and be responsible for designing and executing tests, analyzing test results, and performing test case programming. The role requires creative problem-solving and the ability to adapt testing approaches based on each system's unique conditions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and develop relevant test cases
• Work with test-driven development and test automation as a natural part of the delivery
• Design, execute, and follow up on tests for various systems and modules within the platform
• Continuously deliver value in an agile work environment
• The assignment may also involve work as a system tester in other projects or management

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in test design and software testing, with at least 3 years in the last 5 years
• At least 3 years of experience in test automation, with at least 2 years in the last 5 years
• At least 1 year of experience in GUI testing, acquired in the last 3 years
• At least 1 year of experience in API testing (REST), acquired in the last 3 years
• At least 3 years of experience in testing web applications, both frontend and backend
• Relevant university or college education, or equivalent work experience
• Very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Location: Kalmar or Stockholm

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in acceptance testing with business specialists
• Experience in database management and SQL
• Experience with the testing tool ReadyAPI
• Experience with the testing tool Playwright
• Experience in system development with Java as the primary programming language

Start: 2026-04-15 (latest 2026-05-04) Duration: until 2026-10-15, with an option for 3 × 6 months extension Location: Kalmar or Stockholm (hybrid, approx. 3 days/week remote)
