Continuity and Exercise Coordinator for the IT Division

About the Position

As a continuity and exercise coordinator in the IT division at Svenska kraftnät, you will participate in building and developing the division's continuity and exercise capabilities. You will operate at both strategic and operational levels and in close collaboration with internal units.

As an exercise coordinator, you will work across divisions, and the work involves internal contacts between the division's departments. The role ranges from coordinating, supporting, and assisting the organization's departments with continuity planning and exercise activities to coordinating with other divisions' continuity and exercise activities. You will coordinate joint initiatives for the development of internal exercise activities. The work also involves developing the division's asset management, with the goal of enabling active inventory and spare parts management, as well as training employees in continuity and exercise issues.

The core mission of the IT security department is to ensure Svenska kraftnät's ability to protect, detect, and defend against internal and external IT security threats as well as total defense for the IT division.

As a continuity and exercise coordinator in the Governance IT Security unit within the IT division, you will be part of a team with senior colleagues. In this role, you will be an important part of IT and contribute to creating both strategic and operational conditions for Sweden's electricity supply. You will work together with the IT division's total defense strategist and continuity responsible.

This role requires a good understanding of IT operations and management as well as the challenges faced by IT organizations.

About You

Required Qualifications:

As a person, you are communicative and enjoy having many points of contact and like to collaborate with others. You are good at solving problems and approach tasks and challenges in a structured way. In the role, you need to have drive and care about achieving results together with your colleagues. We place great importance on your personal qualities.

Furthermore, you have a relevant university degree in IT or another equivalent education or corresponding competence acquired in another way that Svenska kraftnät assesses as equivalent.

You also have:

  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in IT with a focus on IT continuity.
  • Experience in leading and coordinating exercises and/or workshops.
  • Work experience from applying frameworks and standards in IT and information security such as ISO27001 and NIST.
  • Very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in English.

It is meritorious if you have:

  • Experience in driving issues related to continuity and recovery as well as requirements setting and follow-up in IT/OT operations.
  • Good knowledge of standards or frameworks for continuity management, e.g., ISO27031 and ISO22301.
  • Experience in continuity management within Swedish authorities/public sector or larger organizations.
  • Knowledge of total defense.
  • Experience in security protection and handling of classified security information.
