About the position

Svenska kraftnät is in a phase of intensive development, and as an IT Solution Architect, you play a key role in bridging the business's requirements and needs with IT, thereby contributing to value-creating digitalization. Your ability to translate the business's needs into sustainable technical solutions, as well as to anchor them with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, is central to the role.

In this role, you will work with both IT management and project activities, in close collaboration with colleagues who manage and further develop our IT systems. Your focus will be on business areas such as finance, HR, procurement, communication, and real estate, with associated system support.

The position involves, among other things:

• Leading and driving the development of technical solutions from both a business and a technical perspective.
• Leading technical workshops and requirements gathering meetings.
• Translating business needs into technical requirements and design.
• Creating and communicating solutions through clear architectural documentation.
• Visualizing and communicating complex technical solutions tailored for different target groups.
• Ensuring that solutions comply with established architectural principles.
• Participating in information classification, system classification, and risk and vulnerability analyses.
• Identifying security risks and defining protective measures.
• Working according to agile methodologies and established tools.

As an IT Solution Architect, you belong to the IT HR and Finance unit, which works with IT support for Svenska kraftnät's internal operations. In your daily work, you will closely collaborate with other solution architects, domain architects, IT specialists, suppliers, as well as specialists and leaders on the business side.

Your background and experience

We are looking for someone who has the ability to translate technical solutions into a clear and relevant business language. You are goal-oriented and confident in your role, work in a structured and solution-oriented manner, and set clear goals while taking responsibility for achieving results. You have the ability to handle and solve complex problems without losing sight of the long-term perspective, and you plan and organize your work well. As a person, you are stable and reliable, meet deadlines, and complete what you start. We place great importance on your personal qualities.

Furthermore, you have a degree from a university or college in IT, computer engineering, systems science, or similar, or equivalent competence acquired in another way that Svenska kraftnät assesses as equivalent. In addition, you have:

• At least 3 years of current experience as a solution architect and several years of experience in solution design for both applications and associated IT infrastructure.
• Experience in designing integration solutions and interface architecture.
• Understanding of identity management.
• Experience working with requirements management and creating traceability between requirements and design.
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Experience working in security-protected operations.
• Experience working in public operations.
• Experience actively contributing to IT procurement in the public sector.
• Knowledge of architectural frameworks and methodologies.
• Experience with applications in areas such as finance, HR, and real estate.
