We are now looking for a software developer for a project with a technically leading player in advanced electronic systems. Here you will be involved in building and further developing the software that tests products before they are put into use in areas such as aviation and marine systems.

You will be part of a section that develops complete test systems – from hardware and test fixtures to software platforms and database connections. Testing is business-critical and often takes place on advanced products in smaller series, where quality and reliability are crucial.

The role has a particular focus on strengthening the software side. You will work on the development of new test programs, further development of existing systems, and modernization of older platforms. An important part is the integration between test engines, databases, and adjacent systems, as well as migration from older Java-based solutions to modern, container-based platforms in C#/.NET.

The work takes place in an environment where several systems interact in parallel. You will navigate through the entire testing chain – from instrument control and test logic to data storage and production-related systems.

After the first year, you are expected to independently take responsibility for one or more test programs and actively contribute to platform development and integration work.

The role offers a wide technical variation where you work closely with both hardware and software, older and modern systems, and see concrete results of your work within relatively short time frames.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Experience in software development in Java or C#/.NET (Core 5+)

• Experience with version control, such as Git

• Basic understanding of or experience with CI/pipelines (e.g., Jenkins or GitHub Actions)

• Good experience working in a Windows environment

• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Ability to undergo a level 2 background check

Desirable is experience with microservices, REST APIs, and PubSub protocols such as MQTT, working in Eclipse RCP, understanding of network protocols, frontend development in TypeScript/React, databases such as MongoDB or SQL, Linux, and container technology such as Docker or Podman. Knowledge in measurement technology or electronics is also valuable.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to current regulations for security protection. This position requires Swedish citizenship.
