Job Advertisement: System and Analysis

Are you interested and experienced in handling and analyzing data related to the finance industry? Do you have experience in managing and developing systems within asset management? Then we can offer you an exciting job within our asset management department where you will have the opportunity to develop yourself and the unit.

The Kammarkollegiet's asset management department conducts active and systematic management and provides ancillary services within asset management (return and risk analysis, securities administration, and financial administrative services) for approximately 400 foundations and funds in the public and ecclesiastical sectors. The department has about 40 employees.

We are now looking for a colleague for the System and Analysis unit. The unit is responsible for systems support and system development of the department's IT systems, where the portfolio system SimCorp Dimension is central. The unit is also responsible for price validation, valuation of underlying instruments, and monitoring of portfolio risk and return calculations. Furthermore, the unit is ultimately responsible for the reporting that occurs to our clients on a monthly basis.

Job Description

In this role, you will conduct the daily reconciliations and controls we perform to ensure valuation, return, and risk in our portfolios. Additionally, you will carry out the monthly reporting routines we have for our clients, which involves preparation, quality assurance, and distribution of reports.

You will be involved in the daily systems support for our users in the department, ranging from minor system configuration to deeper troubleshooting. You will also proactively carry out smaller development activities with the aim of automating and improving our processes. This applies to both processes within the unit and with other units in the department.

A significant portion of your working time will be dedicated to the department's many development projects, where we in the unit act as project resources. In the coming years, the unit will be involved in a comprehensive project regarding data storage and visualization, which will form the basis for a modernized and future-proof reporting solution to be used both internally and externally. Therefore, it is important that you have an interest in both handling and analyzing data, as well as ensuring data quality. It is also an advantage if you have experience with various types of visualization tools, preferably in combination with experience from the finance industry.

Are You Our Future Colleague?

Working at Kammarkollegiet means you will have significant responsibility. We expect you to have a strong commitment to the unit's areas of responsibility and to contribute to driving a secure operation for our clients.

We will place great emphasis on personal qualities. Since we are a small organization, it is important to have a flexible approach to tasks. We are looking for a team player who contributes to a pleasant work environment. You enjoy collaborating with colleagues who have different competencies and can also work independently and make your own decisions. Self-drive, flexibility, humility, and accountability are important qualities to thrive in this role. You are also analytical and possess a high degree of service orientation towards internal and external stakeholders. You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • a relevant academic background in economics or computer science, or another equivalent education combined with relevant experience for the position.
  • good financial knowledge in asset management
  • at least 3 years of current and relevant experience from working in the finance industry in a bank, fund company, asset management, or similar.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • experience in change and development work
  • experience in data management within the finance industry (handling, quality assurance, and analysis of data)
  • experience with business intelligence tools (Microsoft Power BI, Qlik Sense, etc.)
  • experience with the portfolio system SimCorp Dimension
  • experience in report development
  • experience in return and risk calculations

Kammarkollegiet strives for diversity and values the qualities it brings to the organization. We focus on competence and welcome all applicants regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, ethnic and social background, religion or belief, ability, sexual orientation, and age.
