Job Description Background and Assignment Description

During the assignment, the consultant will be part of an agile development team that continuously delivers new functionality and improvements to our users. The application the consultant will work with is under continuous development to meet the needs of the business. Parts of the application are also undergoing modernization to meet tomorrow's analytical needs. This

means that you will work with both new and older parts of the codebase. Examples of technologies used in the assignment include: C/C++, Python, CMake, Git. Azure DevOps/GitLab, SonarQube, Xray, Artifactory. SQL. Linux RHEL9. The consultant contributes with their knowledge and delivers together with the team robust, user-friendly, testable, and well-documented solutions. The assignment is intended to be performed by a resource consultant (a service performed by a consultant to provide reinforcement to the client in the ongoing work performed by the client. The execution of these services is led and directed by the client.

Job Responsibilities

The responsibilities include, among other things, participating in the team's sprint planning, developing solution proposals for programming tasks together with the development team, implementing changes in the application's codebase, writing easily understandable high-quality code, writing unit and integration tests, and continuously coordinating the work with the team to build shared knowledge.

Required Qualifications: 1. At least 5 years of work experience in the last 8 years of professional software development, of which at least 3 years with C++. 2. At least 1 year of work experience in the last 5 years with Python. (Competence may be assessed through a programming test). 3. Ability to express oneself well in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. 4. At least 1 year of work experience in the last 5 years working in Linux.

Preferred Qualifications: 1. At least 1 year of work experience from electricity network companies (TSO or regional network companies). 2. At least 1 year of work experience in developing, deploying, or operating applications on container platforms such as Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes or equivalent platform if the client finds it equivalent. 3. At least 1 year of work experience in areas of APIs and communication interfaces such as REST, fastAPI, and web sockets or equivalent communication interfaces as the client finds it equivalent. 4. At least 1 year of experience in creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and/or GitLab. 5. At least 1 year of experience with Ansible for automation or configuration management.
