What the Role Entails

As a DevOps Engineer at Complior, you will work in an on-prem dual data center environment with approximately 850 virtual servers, both Linux and Windows, under all of Complior's security requirements. The platform is stable and well-functioning but needs modern, scalable, and systematic solutions for automation.

Your main tasks include:

• Translating architectural decisions into robust IaC
• Automating operations in a regulated environment where changes must be traceable, controlled, and well-documented
• Developing, improving, and standardizing tools and workflows for configuration, deployment, and monitoring
• Writing and troubleshooting code in PowerShell, Bash, and/or Python
• Working with Ansible, Git, and other DevOps tools
• Documenting as a natural part of your work
• Using AI tools professionally — with an understanding of what is generated and why

You will work closely with operations, security, compliance, and system owners, driving technical improvements throughout the chain.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure automation, or similar technology-related roles. We are less interested in formal education and more interested in practical skills and proven results.

To thrive and succeed in this role, you need to:

• Be comfortable with both Linux and Windows Server in operation
• Be able to work independently based on clear technical direction
• Have extensive experience with PowerShell, Bash, and/or Python
• Have worked with Ansible, Git, and IaC
• Thrive in an environment where security, regulation, and control are central
• Have discipline regarding logging, documentation, and version control
• Understand AI tools and be able to use them professionally — without being dependent on them

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with networking, VLANs, segmentation, and firewalls
• Experience managing secrets in automation such as HSM/KMS
• Experience with API integrations in operational environments
• A background in PCI DSS, ISO 27001, or another controlled environment
